About the Event

The National Monument to the Forefathers turns 125 on August 1st of this year — 2014. As the largest solid granite monument in the United States, and the most ornate in giving the details of our Pilgrim forefathers, this is an event in “America’s Hometown” that you, your family, church or civic group will not want to miss!

REGISTER FOR THE EVENTIn addition to a grand celebration of the monument on Saturday, we will be showing Kirk Cameron’s film on Thursday evening entitled Monumental, a film which highlights the monument as a blueprint for liberty. The Academy of Arts from South Carolina will also perform their Pilgrim drama called “The Venture of 1620” on Friday and Saturday evenings — a must see.
